La Quinceañera Alexxis in Sacramento CA

Meet La Quinceañera Alexxis! I would describe her as beautiful both inside and out. She's passionate, loving, outgoing, driven and friendly. You could tell that she has a very close bond with each person in her court! Some Quinceañeras like getting ready photos, some do not, it's all personal preference.

   

The Quinceañera Mass is the most important part of the day, she is presented to her communinty as a young woman of God, ready to set the proper example and carry fourth the good word. The presentation of the Las Flores ala Virgen is a traditional part of the Mass, where our Mother, Jesus' mother is honored.

      This photo is special to her because her mom and dad also took a picture here, after their wedding.

Making portraits of each member of the court is also important for me, because this may be the first time each kid gets dressed up. I know as a parent, I'd want a photo of my kid in the first quince, in a tux or lovely dress.

Some of these portraits can be challenging because sometimes the kids feel nervous and may not be comfortable in their attire. It's my job to chat with them, build great rapport before we start taking portraits, otherwise their feelings will come through in the photos.
